An old feathered paged book sits in her palms, her head hanging down looking intensely on one page. An old discoloured photo with writing scrawled beneath it takes her complete focus.
A: You were lucky Deas, not in the sense a wrestler would normally use that term, it wasn’t as though you conquered me and got a lucky win, you were simply lucky that someone had gotten to me first. Leaving me out cold in my locker room, bleeding. Now they may feel that have gotten away with the beating, but the intelligence they grant themselves with is far from what is the truth. I know who it was that took me out before my match, and I know the reason, I would be pretty bad at my job if I didn’t.
I have spent many years tracking down this person…
She runs her fingers across the old photo
A: I finally track them down, and my being here has upset someone. I won’t take kindly to the actions they saw fit to put upon me, and I will get my revenge, lucky as well, because my being here just happens to be good timing on my behalf, making a realisation that I had not known of before, I get to do two birds with one stone.
So, Deas. That being said, I will have eyes in the back of my head to ensure my safety, after all, no one wants you to receive another hand-me-over win now do they? We would all benefit from seeing you loose and return to your loosing streak credit, it’s the least I could do.
And my reward for doing so? Facing either of those fine competitors Adam Darke or Saidogai for the Television title.
And that my friend, is that!
She closes the book and runs her hand down the cover.
